Leading
Your Business into the Future With The Internet
Leading
Your Business Into The Future With The Internet is
a book for business people from small and medium businesses
who want to add the electronic worldwide technology dimension,
using the Internet, to their operations.
Integrating
the Internet into business operations does not entail
technical aspects only. There are also important administrative
aspects that must be considered. This book provides a
complete overview of the implications the Internet can
have for a business. It covers technical as well as managerial
aspects, from using basic services all the way to electronic
commerce, and includes the impact on employees and on
day-to-day operations. It describes the advantages and
challenges of each service, identifies potential technical
challenges, offers solutions, describes the evolving culture
surrounding this dynamic medium and explores future trends.
The book approaches the subject from a manager's point
of view rather than a technician's point of view. It starts
by introducing the basics and allows the reader to gradually
acquire a working knowledge of the medium in order to
make sound business decisions.
